Rev Thomson John Chipeta, a 96 year old retired pastor, founded Home of Hope in 1998, an educational charitable institution inspired from his personal journey as an orphan.
We have transformed into an educational charitable institution, nurturing and educating 700 orphans and vulnerable children.
Supporting orphans and vulnerable children is a compassionate act that shapes a brighter future. Help to create a positive impact on individual lives and foster empathy within communities.
Since 2006, Raising Malawi, led by Madonna, has been helping vulnerable children at Home of Hope. They support the health clinic, schools, housing, and services for these children to make sure they get the care they need.
The Malawi Orphan Fund, a charity founded in 2005 by Rosemary and Martin Lowdon in the UK, offers financial and prayer support to Home of Hope children’s home. They primarily support the home financially and through sponsorship programs. Over time, they've become one of the two biggest donors to Home of Hope.
