 At our Abbes farm and Irrigation site we cultivate maize and beans to provide nutritious meals for the children at Home of Hope. At Home of Hope Children's Home, our fish farming project, generously supported by the Malawi Orphan Fund, is set to revolutionize our community. Beginning with a pilot pond and expanding to eight ponds in total, this initiative is not only aimed at ensuring a sustainable source of nutrition for the children but also holds the promise of becoming a significant income-generating venture. 

The proceeds from the project will play a crucial role in funding various operations at Home of Hope, contributing to our self-sufficiency and enabling us to provide comprehensive support to the children in our care 

Home of Hope Children's Home is actively engaged in a promising macadamia project, generously supported by the Malawi Orphan Fund. This initiative spans two sites: a nursery near Home of Hope where we cultivate and sell small macadamia trees, and a larger plot on our farm where we plan to expand the cultivation of these trees. The goal is not only to generate income for the home but also to establish a sustainable source of revenue. 

The partnership with the Malawi Orphan Fund is instrumental in realizing the potential of this project, paving the way for Home of Hope to achieve financial independence and enhance its ability to provide comprehensive care and support to the children in our community. 

Home of Hope's Beehive Farming Project embodies sustainability, economic empowerment, and environmental stewardship. Nestled amid the picturesque mountains, this initiative not only supports bee populations and local flora but also generates income through premium honey.

Collaborating with local beekeeping associations, we ensure responsible hive management and eco-friendly practices, promoting a thriving environment and brighter future for all.
